The outdoor infinity pool was a daily highlight, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean, where we spent our afternoons soaking in the sun while indulging in delicious meals from the main restaurant. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness shone brightly; they went above and beyond, assisting me in every aspect from luggage storage to the unforgettable welcome drink that set a positive tone for our arrival. As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciated the eco-friendly practices employed here, and the hotel's proximity to turtle beach opened up opportunities for us to engage in conservation efforts nearby. the location made it easy to explore local gems and enjoy water adventures, including a memorable safari along the Madu River surrounded by its unique mangroves. I left Coral Rock with a heart full of gratitude and an eagerness to return, reveling in the unforgettable sunsets and warm waves crashing below my balcony. This establishment truly encapsulates the extraordinary charm of Sri Lanka, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking an ethical and enriching escape.
